The Solid Waste Management department provides brush and bulky curbside collection services twice per year. The department delivers notices that indicate the start date of collection. These notices are delivered to residents 10 days in advance of scheduled collection services. Residents who did not receive a notice for services should advise the department. Staff will investigate why the notice was not delivered. If the claim is found to be valid, a collection may be rescheduled.
This service request addresses repairs or improvements to a structure and/or fence without the required permits.
"Residents may request special collections of brush or bulky items for a fee per cubic yard. One item $50.00 Up to four (4) cubic yards $50.00 Each additional four (4) cubic yards (or any portion) $25.00 - **4 cubic yards are equivalent to 6ft (length) x 6ft(width) x 3ft(height)."
The Solid Waste Management department offers an out of cycle garbage collection for a fee of $10 per collection. Residents are eligible for 2 free special collections of leaves per fiscal year (October 1st-September 30th). You may place out up to 50 cardboard boxes or 50 (paper) bagged leaves for collection. Leaves in plastic bags will not be accepted. For any additional leaf collections after the 2 free, there is a $20 fee per collection.
Code Enforcement Services addresses vacant properties, those with no structures, which have overgrown vegetation in excess of 12" and/or have litter in public view on the property.
Public Works will remove vegetation and trees that obstruct vehicles visibility and pedestrian safe passage.
